POSTS have been circulating across social media of women allegedly breaking into vehicles in Banbury.
Thames Valley Police have confirmed they are aware of these posts and state that, though some of the incidents have been reported, others have not.
The force is now encouraging people who witnessed these incidents, or whom are victims to the break-ins, to report the cases to police.

Writing about the posts on Twitter, Thames Valley Police Banbury said: "We are aware of a number of posts circulating on local social media channels of a female breaking into vehicles in Banbury.
"Whilst some of these have been reported to us, others have not. We are encouraging this to be reported to us via [our online portal]."
