CROPREDY bowed out of the Oxfordshire Senior League’s Presidents Cup after a thrilling seven-goal extra-time thriller away to Northway.

Last year’s semi-finalists Cropredy took the firstround tie to extra time with goals from the in-form Luke Gardner and last season’s top scorer Aaron Dinnen to make it 2-2 after 90 minutes.

The visitors took the lead early in extra time through Dan Bartlett, who slotted calmly past the keeper.

However, it was Northway who then hit back to score twice and hang on.

Heyford Athletic went through after beating Middleton Cheney 4-0.

James Gregory opened the scoring, before Dan Savin made it 2-0.

Gregory netted his second, before Danny Greene completed the rout.
