OXFORD United are aiming to have a new scoreboard up and running “very soon”.
The Kassam Stadium’s original electronic screen broke last season and the club ordered an upgraded system, similar to the one at Barnet, this month.
It is now just a case of getting all the necessary contractors together.
Greig Box Turnbull, managing director at the U’s, said: “The digital scoreboard project is progressing well and it will be launched at a game very soon.
“It is a detailed project, which involves numerous partners working together.
“We understand supporters are eager to see the new scoreboard up and in operation as soon as possible and we share that passion and are working hard to bring the project to life.”
