OXFORDSHIRE’S Eddie Pepperell has plenty of work to do in the British Masters after shooting a one-over-par round of 72 at Woburn today.
The Abingdon golfer got off to a dream start with a birdie three at the opening hole, but reached the turn one over after bogeys at the fifth and seventh.
A birdie at the par-three 14th saw Pepperell get back to level par, but his good work was undone just a hole later, when he carded a six at the par-five 15th.
The Frilford Heath member tees off from the tenth hole at 7.50 tomorrow morning, needing a better performance to ensure he makes the cut.
