TOWER Hill Ladies returned to the top of Southern Region Women’s League Division 1 with an emphatic 6-0 home victory over New Forest Ladies.

With the visitors reduced to ten players early on due to injury, Tower took full advantage.

They took the lead after half an hour when Ellen Hopkins lobbed the goalkeeper from 20 yards.

Just the one goal separated the sides at the break, but the hosts ran riot in the second half.

Quickfire goals from Sarah Snowdon and Anna Corney-Riera put them in charge at 3-0.

Samantha Bevan-Talbot then headed in a fourth in the 68th minute and Lisa Freeman completed the rout with two late strikes.
