BAR BILLIARDS: Kennington hit back to claim spoils
KENNINGTON Club kept up the pace at the top of the Johnsons Buildbase Oxford & District League Premier Section with a 4-1 home win over Masons, writes PETE EWINS.
Kennington lost the first game as Martyn Wood beat Brian Rose 3,220-1,460.
But they recovered well with wins by Steven Sheard (8,780), Kevin Godfrey (5,770), Pauline Withey (7,110) and Mark Trafford (6,400).
Results: Gladiators Club B 1, Berinsfield Club 4; Kennington Club 4, Masons 1; Vikings Club 4, Marlborough Club 1; West Oxford Democrats Club 3, Didcot Con Club 2.
