Oxford RL will visit newcomers Coventry Bears in their opening game of the 2015 Kingstone Press League 1 season.
Bears have been accepted into English rugby league’s revamped third tier as Oxford were two years ago.
Oxford managing director Adrian Smith said the clash on Friday, April 3 would generate gresat interest.
“Fixture releases always generate interest for fans and clubs alike and I know it will be especially exciting for Coventry, as I can recall our expectation two years ago with our very first match.”
