THE death of a Wallingford man found with a shotgun wound has been ruled as a suicide.

Andrew Hall, 41, died at his home address in Lane End Farm Cottage, Newington, on November 27 last year.

The commercial director was found by a friend who was carrying out a welfare check on Mr Hall in the evening, an inquest has heard.

He was found with a shotgun wound to his head and death was verified at 7.09pm.

His exact time of death was unknown.

Mr Hall was last known to be alive very early during the same morning.

At a full inquest on April 22 at Oxford Coroner’s Court, assistant coroner Judith Leach ruled that Mr Hall’s death was one of suicide.
