Oxford Folk Festival returns to the city this weekend after it was saved by a group of volunteers.
They stepped in after the previous organisers left and have compiled a packed programme of Morris dancing and performances by bands and folk musicians.
With over 70 artists and bands performing across 14 venues, the now entirely volunteer-run folk festival has come back stronger than ever, and runs until Sunday.

Here we are featuring some archive photos of the festival in previous years.
Having been volunteer helpers at the festival in previous years, Jane Bird, Jen Cox, Jack Evans and Ginnie Redston stepped in to save the event.
There is Morris dancing in Broad Street, Bonn Square, Radcliffe Square and at Oxford Castle.
The line-up of more than 70 artists and bands features an impressive mix of respected professional and fine local artists, including Eliza Carthy; Owen Spafford and Louis Campbell; Ranagri; The Celtic Heartbeat; Matt Green and Andy Turner, Ian Giles and Three Pressed Men; Milady Clare’s Musicke; The Trials of Cato with Moonaroon; Katie Grace Harris; The Holy Fools; and many more.
Performances take place at the Covered Market and other venues across the city.
